Your subconscious mind does not understand a negative statement such as, I don’t want to play badly today. Your brain interprets that statement unconsciously as, play badly today. It’s important to always focus on what you do want, not what you don’t want.

Learn to take the emotion out of your game and be in the present moment. When you are in the present moment, you can relax, enjoy yourself and play your best game of golf!
