Ask For A Miracle

I recently had a conversation with a friend about manifesting and asking for what you want.  Part of my daily practice is to meditate every morning and think about the things that I want in my life. I ask God/Spirit to show me what direction I need to go in and please make it easy and effortless.  I also imagine what I want it to feel like.  I ask myself if I am in alignment with my thoughts or am I experiencing resistance?  If I feel resistance coming up, meaning  if I’m nervous, fearful or not fully confident in what I want to attract, I sit with those feelings and release what does not serve me.

Marianne Williamson is a brilliant writer and teaches “The Course in Miracles.”  I was reading her book  “The Law of Divine Compensation” and found these prayers:

“Dear God,

May this business idea be of service to the greater good of all.

If it is not the best use of my talents, please cast it from my mind.

If it is the best use of my talents, please pave the way for success.

Guide all of my thinking and my actions.

“Dear God,

I know that you are bigger than my business problem, but by myself I cannot fix this.

Please guide my thinking, open my heart, and send me a miracle.”

I not only use these prayers for my business but all aspects in my life. It really works.  As I explained these daily prayers to my friend, they said that they thought that it was arrogant of me to ask for multiple miracles.  Aren’t we limited to how many miracles we can have?  That question threw me.  I stopped and asked them who told them you were only allowed a few miracles?  I also asked what their definition of a miracle was?  My miracles come in all shapes and sizes.  Sometimes it’s a simple call from someone I am thinking about, or money showing up just when you need it, or a friend calling you out of the blue at a time when you could use one.

I have learned to surrender and ask what my next step is and the messages show up all of the time.  We are all worthy and deserving of miracles.

Why not ask for yours now?

Thanks so much for this post. I have been doing A Course in Miracles and love Marianne’s teachings. I just recently started to use the power of manifesting and really appreciate your prayers and will integrate them into my process. Thanks again.
